Our Story

From the origins to international evolution

1976

Erreppi was founded in 1976 from Rio Proietti‘s passion for mechanics and the goal of developing robust and innovative solutions for agricultural work. The company’s first products were PTO trailers, highly innovative machinery for the time, designed to meet the needs of small-scale agricultural transport.

1980

Thanks to the introduction of increasingly advanced production systems, the company rapidly evolved towards the design of complex and specialized agricultural machinery. In the 1980s, MTA was born, a solution developed from the fusion of a trailer and a power tiller, marking one of the first strategic steps in Erreppi’s technological growth.

From the early years of activity, the company developed a strong international vocation, starting to export to Spain and Portugal and progressively consolidating its presence in foreign markets.

1990

In the 1990s, Erreppi completed its transformation from a manufacturer of agricultural equipment to a builder of true operational machines, developing models such as Slalom 20, Master SX, and Jumper 50. During this period, Bantam was also born, a lightweight, compact, and maneuverable tractor designed for the European market.

2000

The international breakthrough came in the 2000s with the birth of BUFFALO, a compact and multifunctional platform designed to operate in complex and tropical agricultural contexts. Thanks to its characteristics of lightness, modularity, and reliability, BUFFALO quickly achieved great success in Malaysia, Indonesia, and numerous international markets related to the palm oil sector. In the same years, Erreppi also developed MAGA, an innovative solution dedicated to the mechanized harvesting of pendant fruits, which has evolved into today’s MAGA 800.

2012

The evolution continued in 2012 with the launch of BUFFALO 2 and subsequently BUFFALO 2 Plus, developed through direct consultation with end-users to further improve reliability, ergonomics, and operational performance.

2026

Today, Erreppi operates internationally, maintaining a constant dialogue with clients and field operators, developing solutions designed around the real operational needs of the most complex agricultural and industrial markets.
